Deer Lake Riparian Shoreline Project Two major objectives on this project:  Creating lake access Lakescaping shoreline The resultant riparian shoreline buffer protected against erosion and enhanced access and use of lake. Existing drift wood was left in place and native plants  were installed along water's edge and upland slopes.
Lakeshore inaccessible to owner Clearing shoreline while maintaining cattails wetland Erosion contol blanket and Canada anemone planted Swamp milkweed, Blue lobelia, Joe Pye Weed planted  Native plants along shoreline Errosion control blanket installed Blackeyed Susan planted Shoreline erosion protection installed and planted Blue Flag Iris planted among the driftwood Native plants at shoreline and mulched beds Access to lake maintaining wetland area Erosion control, weed blankets, and Native planting completed
