Green Lake Canal
Installed June 2015 along a canal leading into Green lake in Clarkston, MI.
Fluctuation levels of the canal had eroded significant amount of shoreline over the years. Even though
wave and wind energy would be considered low, the up and down of the canal levels constantly eroded
the shoreline. Coir logs and shrubs and forbs were installed to stabilize the shore. Initial results look
good….next couple of years will tell the real story
